The Station Events + Guesthouse Wedding

Amanda & Collette reached out about their wedding plans just over a year before they said I Do. Reading their inquiry form left me feeling immediately excited about their vision for their day which featured one of Saskatchewan’s hottest new venues – The Station Events + Guesthouse located 15 minutes out of town in Pilot Butte.

After an intimate first look in the beautiful forest area a few steps from the main property, the couple, along with their wedding party (who were so much fun) spent the afternoon taking photos and celebrating before heading back to the guesthouse to walk down the aisle.

Their ceremony, officiated by Vanessa with The Knotary took place outside on the back lawn area of The Station and left not one dry eye in the house. It had everything a beautiful ceremony should – personalized heartfelt vows, inclusion from family and friends, and the anticipatory moment of saying I DO! As Amanda and Collette were announced a newlywed couple, their guests blew bubble guns as they walked down the aisle together!

Following the ceremony, Amanda & Collette headed off for family photos, and their guests went up to the Greenhouse to enjoy a specialty cocktail, mingle, and enjoy the incredible charcuterie provided by Wallnuts Expressive Catering. (I mean how GOOD does that spread look? I still dream of it).

Dinner was served inside The Greenhouse by Schmitty’s Smoked Meats, before speeches kicked off, and guests were served more amazing food, this time courtesy of Queen City Cakes. To get the party started, Amanda & Collette shared their first dance, and Amanda tossed her bouquet off the patio. When I tell you that DJ Zubazz brought the party, he brought the party!!

My favourite part about working with Amanda & Collette was their desire to stay true to themselves, their vision, and their love story. From start to finish – every moment of their day was a reflection of what they share, which is exactly what a wedding day should be. On their wedding day, I felt so incredibly welcomed by their wedding party, family, friends and the vendors they chose. It was truly a day I will never forget!
